Strong consolidation activity characterized the physician services sector in the third quarter of 2019, according to Provident Healthcare Partners’ “Q3-2019 Physician Services Update.”
September:
1. Miami-based Gastro Health acquires Seattle-based Puget Sound Gastroenterology, which has 24 physicians at four Washington locations.
2. The GI Alliance, an entity formed by Waud Capital Partners and Southlake-based Texas Digestive Disease Consultants, acquires Beaumont-based Southeast Texas Gastroenterology Associates, which has four physicians and two locations.
